in 1984, i attended mt. hood community college, where there i received a business degree and my cosmetology license. my mom owned a bed & breakfast with a salon on the beautiful oregon coast in rockaway beach and this is where i started my career in the beauty industry. i managed the salon while my mom attended mt. hood community college to receive her instructors license and taught for a term. a few years later i moved to the vancouver area and worked in a salon at jantzen beach mall. after building my clientele, one year later i managed this salon as well.
after many years working for amazing salons, i decided to pursue the business side of the industry. i worked for a distributor and worked my way up into consulting salons. i’ve serviced a great territory for almost five years and have been inspired to continue my journey as a hair designer.
i have attended many educational events over the past eleven years working for beauty distributors; including redken symposium, paul mitchell signature gathering, davines’ own tim hartley formerly of (vidal sasoon) hair cutting, sexy hair concept structure in motion cutting, davines,kadus,redken, swartzkopt color classes.
i have been given an amazing opportunity with nurture inspired hair design to follow my
dream to reconnect with my passion for doing hair. i love coloring, haircutting, styling, up do’s,waxing and makeup application. so please come by and let me nurture & inspire you .
